Summer round up

Some would say it hasn't been much of a summer... and we'd probably agree.  Low temperatures, very few north winds and overcast.  Yet strangely humid and so fungal issues have had to be carefully controlled.  And now in February, which in past years has been mild, summer seems to have arrived, albeit with ongoing easterlies and humidity.

Climate change?  Who knows

But the olives are looking great!  This season looks like our best year yet including a good crop of Kalamata.  Up until now we've been worried as to whether these premium table olives will grow up at Main Ridge (or as some call it Main Fridge!).  Looking forward to harvest and pickling our crop as well as the usual supply from our trusty Peninsula growers.
